7.5 Color settings

Thanks to this dialog box that can be visualized selecting View Color Settings, it's possible to change some interesting color parameters for a nice view.

7.5.1 Background settings

Background settingsClicking the Background color box, you can change the background color. As an example, this function is very useful to change the background from black to white in order to print the screen. Changing Logo gadget, you can activate the superimposition of the VEGA ZZ logo. It can be placed at Top left, Top center, Top right, Center left, Centered, Center right, Bottom left, Bottom center and Bottom right.
If the possibility to change the background color isn't enough, you can use the SkyVision system that applies a 3D landscape to the scene. More in detail, it places the scene inside a cube (skybox) with textured faces as in modern 3D video game to render landscapes. By this way, it's clear that six texture files are required for each landscape. They must be placed in the SkyBoxes directory and must be in JPEG format. The resolution of the image must be 128x128, 256x256 and 512x512 pixels. Larger images aren't recommended because they requires a lot of graphic memory and reducing the rendering performances. The six files must have a specific name. If the skybox name is landscape,  the files defining the six faces must be: landscape_back.jpg, landscape_bottom.jpg, landscape_front.jpg, landscape_left.jpg, landscape_right.jpg and landscape_top.jpg. The landscape can be adjusted in the scene changing the position (X offset and Y offset) and the orientation (X rotation, Y rotation and Z rotation). When you click the dot buttons, the parameters are reverted to default.
